Andre Originals Mfg Co was founded in 1953 in Brooklyn New York by European artist Andre Blitz and his wife Jeanette Blitz. Shortly after their arrival at Ellis Island, with nothing but talent and determination Andre & Jeanette set their sights on success in the American furniture industry.

Fifty five years later we are happy to be able to continue the family passion for furniture design and manufacturing. Andre and Jeanette’s daughters Helen Blitz, President of Andre Originals, and renowned interior designer Jeani Ziering, have paved the well-worn path for Jeani’s sons Andre and Nathaniel.

Andre Originals management and staff continues to honor our founders core values. Creative inspiration, quality and hard work are the embodiment of the Andre Originals mission and can be found throughout our organization today.

THE PRODUCT
Andre Originals imports hand-carved wood furniture made primarily in Italy and Indonesia. We custom finish and upholster our frames to your specifications at our manufacturing plant in Rahway, New Jersey.

This labor intensive process includes on-site carpentry, upholstery and wood finishing. Customization and a huge stock of frames allows us to meet our customer needs by offering unique furnishings at affordable prices with a quick turnaround. Andre Originals work with hospitality specifiers, interior designers, and furniture retailers.
